A Sample Ride
After a sumptuous breakfast at the historic Greenbrier in White Sulphur Springs, you depart
on one of the best kept secrets in motorcycling - the roads of West Virginia. On your
five-to-six-hour ride, you never see a four-lane highway.
Winding through the Monongahela National Forest, you pass the National Radio Astronomy
Observatory. It houses the world's largest radio telescope, which stands 485 feet tall and
weighs 17 million pounds.
Continuing through this beautiful landscape, you find yourself exhilarated by the incredible
experience of riding your motorcycle through sweeping turns and switchbacks that leave you
grinning like nothing else can. Your guide, Dave, takes you to a great out-of-the-way spot
for lunch and gives you the details of your afternoon ride.
Passing through the Appalachian
highlands through Canaan Valley Park and Blackwater Falls, your final leg is through the
ancient hemlock forest of Cathedral Park. The only traffic light you encounter all day comes
as you pass Tygart Lake Park and enter Benedum Airport for your flight to tomorrow's
adventure.
This is a sample of just one of the many places we can take you to. The United States and
Canada have so many great places to ride and beautiful places to see. There is nothing like
Ride and Fly Tours - it's everything you want in a motorcycling tour!
